This year we want to hear from our community to know if they would be interested in being part of or facilitating in person events! We want to facilitate santa meet ups. Santas can chat with people with the shared desire to support their community.  We would love it if our santas got together and formed their own networks, friendships and community projects. This project is about connecting people with Christmas joy. I want the children's presents to have personal touches just like an aunty or mum would make. We are looking to connect with local crafters, artists and makers to pass on our family traditions to children in the secret santa project. They would love sewers to join them so we can make Christmas as magical as possible.

I know that my family loves when I give presents in santa sacks with children's names on each one. We know that there are crafters, knitters, makers, woodworkers and artists who would love to help their community. 

We would love anything made independently or at one of our Craftsmas social events.

At our Craftsmas events at libraries in Lower Hutt and the Hub in Wellington, we will have easy projects (like removing cut outs from cards, stacking gift tags as well as opportunities to express creativity making Christmas cards and gift tags.  It will also be a chance to chat and share ideas over coffee.

You are welcome to just bring your own projects and hang out too.

Lots of people in our community don't know about our awesome mahi here which limits how many children and families we can work with. Can we get some of our santas to talk to community groups and businesses to share what we are doing and why it's important?
