We collect personal information solely for the purpose of enabling users to contribute to their community. We will only contact you about and for this purpose. 

Your information submitted in the form(s) will be solely managed by the Project Co-Ordinator, Amy Doughty. The sign up form information provided will be downloaded into Excel spreadsheets and securely stored by Amy until the end of the calendar year. This allows Amy time to tidy up any loose ends relating to secret santa before the data is deleted.
Amy may liaise with one person from Kokiri Marae Pātaka Kai to ensure that there are no double ups from their sign up process.

When santas are matched with children, they are given anonymised information (first name, age and key interests) and a Santa Mail Code. Many santas like to label the gifts with children's names. If you would not like your child's name shared with their santa, please contact us and we can arrange.

We only gather and share necessary information for the purpose of facilitating gift distribution. Workers at our distribution partners Kokiri Marae Pātaka Kai will see the Santa Mail Code and your child's name for logistical reasons. If you would prefer more privacy, please contact Amy to arrange.

Please contact us at admin@huttcommunity.co.nz to request viewing, amending or deleting of any of your private information. 

We may use images of gifts provided by santas on our website, instagram, substack and other social media projects as they evolve. We will not show personal information such as children's names. Please let us know if you would not like pictures of your gift used in this way.
